We're excited to announce the Dynamic Grade Boundary Range, a powerful enhancement designed to provide greater clarity and precision in managing grade ranges for your quality standards. This update ensures you can visualize the exact ranges for each grade and understand how adjustments impact grading outcomes.
Today, you can manage multiple grades, arranged from the best grade (leftmost) to the worst grade (rightmost).
Each data element collected in the inspection can influence the final grade.
Elements will be evaluated based on the ranges constructed using the following parameters:
-
Direction-Based Grading
- Customize the grading direction to indicate whether better grades correspond to higher or lower values:
- Increasing Values: Higher values represent better grades.
- Decreasing Values: Lower values represent better grades.
- Customize the grading direction to indicate whether better grades correspond to higher or lower values:
- Grade boundary setup:
- Each grade, except for the worst grade, can have a boundary value in its respective cell, acting as a limit for that grade’s range.
- Optional Upper Limit for Best Grade:
- The best grade can have a setting for an upper limit.
- If this upper limit is set:
- For increasing values, values above this upper limit fall into the worst grade.
- For decreasing values, values below this upper limit are assigned to the worst grade.
A new Dynamic Grade Ranges in Display Mode
Ranges are calculated dynamically And presented on display mode to reflect grading rules:
-
- Upper Limit Impact: Defines ranges for the best and worst grades based on the upper limit (if provided).
- Intermediate Grades: Ranges between consecutive boundary values are precisely calculated.
- Lowest Grade Range: Automatically includes all out-of-bound values not covered by other grades.

Benefits:
- Enhanced Visibility: See exactly how grade boundaries influence ranges in real-time.
- Improved Accuracy: Ensure your quality standards are accurately represented.
- Increased Flexibility: Adapt grading rules to your unique requirements effortlessly.
