We’re excited to announce that our Batch Process feature—previously exclusive to enterprise accounts—is now available to all Clarifresh users!
This feature introduces a hierarchical sidebar view, making it easier to see relationships between different processes. A batch process is simply a parent process that contains one or more child processes nested under it.
Once you add a child process to a simple process, it automatically becomes a batch process, allowing you to collect and organize inspections more effectively.
How It Works
Parent Batch Process: A process flow in the mobile app where inspectors capture high-level batch information.
Child In-Batch Processes: Additional process flows for detailed inspection data on individual items within the batch.
Example: Truck Arrival
Parent Batch Process: Record general truck details (temperature, arrival time, driver info).
In-Batch Processes: Collect inspection data for each pallet on the truck (quality metrics, defects, produce attributes).
Creating a Batch Process
Navigate to Specs on the web platform.
Hover over the process name and click the three-dot menu.
Use the new sidebar actions:
Add → Create a new child process
Move → Reorganize processes under a different batch
Copy / Delete → Duplicate or remove processes
