We’ve released a new feature that allows accounts using external specifications from another company to share approved inspections back with the spec provider.
What This Means
If your account uses specifications shared by another company, you now have the option to share your approved inspections with them. This helps the spec provider gain better visibility into inspections performed using their specifications.
How to Enable Sharing
Go to Settings > Company Specs.
Turn on the toggle “Share approved inspections with Child of Giving company.”
Sharing is optional and not automatic—you control whether approved inspections are shared.
What the Spec Provider Sees
The spec provider will see shared inspections directly within their Reports screen.
To view these, they must select the checkbox “Include External Accounts” under the Accounts filter.
When opening your shared inspection from their Reports screen, they will see the public QC Report version.
