We’ve introduced a new Viewer role to give limited-access users—such as suppliers or growers—a focused and secure way to view inspection reports.
🔑 What’s New?
You can now assign a Viewer role to a user, allowing them to:
Access only the Reports section.
View only approved inspections.
Be restricted to specific data using a locked filter (e.g., by supplier, grower, or location).
👨🌾 Example Use Case
Invite a grower to view their own inspection reports—nothing more.
Assign them the Viewer role, choose “Grower” as the filter, and select the relevant grower name.
⚙️ How to Set It Up
Go to Settings → Users.
Click New User.
Select Viewer under the Role dropdown.
Choose the relevant Property (e.g., Grower, Supplier, Location).
Set the Property Value to define which reports they can access.
📸 Example:
The Viewer will only see approved inspections that match this filter.
They cannot remove or change the filter, and cannot access other areas of the platform.
