We’re excited to introduce a major upgrade to Batch Aggregation, giving you far more flexibility when collecting and evaluating inspection data across multiple inspections.
This update removes previous limitations and makes batch summaries more powerful, accurate, and easier to manage.
What’s New?
With this release, batch inspections can now aggregate in-batch inspection data with far fewer restrictions, enabling you to create a clean, unified combined QC Report—even when inspections differ.
Key Improvements:
1. Batch-level data and aggregated data now work together
You can now have attributes and defects on both:
the batch level, and
the aggregated in-batch inspections
Both will appear in the batch QC Report as long as their activities don’t collide.
If the same activity appears in both places, the batch-level value overrides the aggregated one.
2. Aggregation is now extremely flexible
Previously, aggregation worked only when all in-batch inspections were identical in produce, process, variety, package, and standard.
Now, aggregation requires only one condition:
👉 All in-batch inspections must belong to the same produce.
Everything else—variety, package, process, standard—can differ freely.
3. Aggregated values are created regardless of standards
The batch no longer depends on matching standards to aggregate the data.
The values will always be aggregated once the toggle is ON in the process settings.
4. Grade the batch using any standard
The batch can now be evaluated using any standard you choose, treating the aggregated values as if they were collected directly in the batch.
Why This Is Useful
This upgrade unlocks powerful new workflows when having complex shipments containing different varieties, sizes, or packaging that still belong to the same produce
✔ More realistic batch grading
Your batch standard can be designed specifically for batch-level evaluation—even if in-batch inspections use different standards. With different ranges that are suitable for a higher inspection sizes.
✔ Cleaner reporting & traceability
Get one combined QC Report that gives a complete picture of:
aggregated attributes
aggregated defects
batch-level findings
…all in one place.
