If Clarifresh can't measure produce size, your device may not be able to capture LiDAR data.
What is the LiDAR sensor?
The LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor measures the distance between your device and nearby objects. Clarifresh uses this information to calculate produce size from photos.
Where is the LiDAR sensor?
The LiDAR sensor is located on the back of supported iPhones, next to the camera lenses and flash.
How to fix the issue
Try the following steps:
- Make sure the LiDAR sensor isn't covered by your finger or a phone case.
- Clean the sensor with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
- Close and reopen the Clarifresh app.
- Restart your iPhone.
- Make sure your device is running the latest version of iOS.
After completing these steps, return to Clarifresh and try taking the photo again.
If the issue continues
If the problem persists, your device may have a hardware issue affecting the LiDAR sensor. Size measurements may not be available until the issue is resolved.
