When a QC report is approved and sent by email, the default email subject line includes the inspection name and the final grade.
You can customize the QC report email subject line per process by selecting which inspection properties should be added to the subject line.
This helps recipients quickly identify the report based on the information that is most relevant to your workflow, such as supplier, lot number, PO number, grower, or any other property used in the process.
How to change the QC report email subject line
- Go to Specs>Process Settings.
- Click Edit.
- In the process settings, find the Email subject text - Add properties dropdown.
- Select the properties you want to add to the QC report email subject line.
- The selected properties will be added to the email subject line, separated by
|. - Drag and drop the selected properties to set the order in which they should appear.
- Click Save.
Example
If you select the following properties:
Supplier, Lot Number, and Inspection Date
The email subject line may appear like this:
Inspection Name - Final Grade | Supplier | Lot Number | Inspection Date
Important notes
The email subject line is configured per process. If you want to use a different subject line structure for different inspection flows, update each process separately.
The selected properties are added to the subject line and separated by |.
You can change the order of the selected properties by dragging and dropping them in the settings.
The updated subject line will apply to QC report emails sent after the process settings are saved.
