Processes define how Clarifresh's mobile app will look and which data the inspector will collect and in which order.
To access the Processes Panel, choose the 'Spec' of the menu bar. If you still did not create a process in your system, the panel will be empty.
Below is a Clarifresh demo example:
Structure of a Process
Every process includes 2 components:
- Process settings
- Flow and its preview panel
1. Process settings
The settings panel, located on the left side, enables you to configure the process and its features that will be shown on the mobile app for inspectors. Let's review the list of settings:
Explanations:
- Name of the process.
- Field describing the process (optional)
- The parent process field enables you to create multi-level processes. For more information about this feature, please contact the support team.
- Default standard associated with the process (please refer to Understanding Clarifresh's Specifications)
- Whether you want inspections to be automatically approved once completed (default settings). or if a manager will need to approve.
- Email subject line with the list of properties notifying the approval of an inspection.
- Notification group for approved inspections (please refer to Create notification group).
- Ability to hide this process from the list of processes shown in the mobile app (see How to hide a process for inspectors as it undergoes changes).
2. Flow of a process and its preview panel
The flow of a process sets the various steps that will show up in the mobile app for the inspectors to fill in.
In the preview panel, you will see which properties and/or attributes will appear for each step. In the example below, the first step named "New Inspection" will include the name of inspection, the variety of the produce, Clarifresh Temperature, Clarifresh item weight and Clarifresh GG Number.
As you click on each step of the flow, you will notice in the preview panel which fields are included.
Every step of the flow includes a specific set of information. In the example above, the second step will include a checklist (please refer to What are Checklists). Moving to the next step enables the inspector to add information about the size and color of the produce. Finally, the 2 last steps provide an interface to report defects (the step labeled "Severity %") and additional attributes.
Users with administrative roles have the ability to create new processes or alter existing ones. For more details on process creation, please refer to the administrator section.
