Clarifresh provides a simple and intuitive tool to create inspection processes. Before starting the process creation, make sure to review the post Understanding the Inspection Process Panel.
4 simple steps to create your process:
- Click the 'new process' button and name your process
- Add inspection steps to the flow
- Add properties, attributes, and defect for each relevant flow step
- Configure the process settings
Let's review each step separately:
1. Starting your new process creation
From the top menu, select the spec option [1], then click on the Process tab [2]. Make sure you create your process for your desired produce. Lastly, click on the 'create process' button [4]:
In the pop-up that appears, fill in the process name [1] and click the 'Create' button:
This will create a process, with the initial step as shown:
The initial step, named 'Inspection Details', there are mandatory fields that cannot be removed. To add properties that will appear in this step, click the pencil icon on the right side:
Drag and drop one of the following properties [1] or create new ones [2]:
To modify the label of the inspection name, use the 'Name alias' field [3].
2. Add inspection steps to the flow
Once the initial 'Inspection Details' step is completed, add more steps by clicking the 'Plus' icon:
Hover over the step type you want to add and click the green circle [1] to select it. Multiple selections are allowed:
Lastly, click 'Add' [2] to create the new steps in the process flow:
You will now see all added steps in the flow. You can access each step and add the relevant fields and settings that will be shown to inspectors during their inspections.
3. Add Properties, Attributes, and Defects for Each Relevant Flow Step
3.1 Adding Items in the Checklist Panel
By clicking on the pencil located on the right side, your list of items will appear. Drag and drop the items into the panel:
If a checklist item is missing, you can create a new one by clicking on the 'Add new' button.
3.2 Configuring the 'Defects' Flow Step
In this step, you can define the inspection size and determine the produce defects that inspectors will report.
3.2.1 Inspection size
The inspection size is crucial, as it determines results. It can be set by a relative number, such as 100 units, an attribute, or a calculated attribute:
You can set the inspection size units [1] and rename it through the label field [2].
3.2.2 Defects
This panel enables you to add default defect groups or groups that you have already created. Simply drag and drop a group into the panel:
3.3 Configuring the 'Photo' flow step
This screen allows you to add photos as part of your digitalized inspection. When editing this step, you can define a minimum number of pictures that the inspection needs to include, and provide instructions on how you expect your produce to be photographed.
Clarifresh offers 2 photo options:
- Automatic Attributes
- Information Photos (as shown above)
When using the default Automatic Attributes mode, you can set a number of attributes to be added manually by the inspector:
Customers with the Pro license, which includes Clarifresh's unique Computer Vision capabilities, can benefit from automatic attribute detection. To activate this feature, please contact the support team.
3.4 Configuring the Dedicated Properties Flow Step
Similar to the first step, you can create a screen dedicated to Properties. Simply drag and drop the desired properties from the list or create a new one as needed:
