Clarifresh categorizes defects related to specific produce and arranges them into groups. To establish defects and defect groups associated with processes and inspection standards, follow these three steps:
- Define a defect group.
- Define a defect and link it to a produce.
- Associate the defect with a defect group.
Define a custom defect group
- Access the settings panel by clicking on the right side icon, then select 'Settings':
- Choose 'Defect Groups' under the General Config menu and click on the 'plus' icon:
- Select the 'Other' option and click on 'Add Group':
- Rename the 'Other' group as needed:
Define a defect and associate it with a produce
- Access the settings panel by clicking on the right side icon, then select 'Settings':
- Select 'Defects' under the General Config option and click on the 'plus' icon:

Specify your custom defect [1] and identify a similar default defect [2]. Finally, indicate which produce the defect applies to [3]:
Add the defect to a defect group
- Access the settings panel by clicking on the right side icon, then select 'Settings':
- Navigate to 'Produce Config', select the desired produce, and click on 'Defect Allocations'.
- Choose one of the defect groups [1], then click on 'Customize' [2].
- Drag and drop the relevant defects into the selected group:
- To add one or more pictures that illustrates the defect, click on the image icon and upload your images:
Please note that you can add new defects items while creating your processes. The option for creating new defect items will appear on the 'Defects' flow step, after adding a group in the panel [1]:
Select the 'Defect to Include' button, followed by 'Add New' [3].
